Volunteer Program
The Mount Vernon School District has a proud history of volunteers working in our schools. It is our mission that each child succeeds in a school community of lifelong learners working together with supportive resources in a nurturing environment. Volunteer service is vital to the success of our schools. The District's VISITS (Volunteers In Schools Inspire Today's Students) program invites parents, grandparents, students and community members to help make a difference in our schools.
