Art Palmer-local veteran
Long time community member and Air Force Veteran, Art Palmer, was recently interviewed for KOMO News.   Art has been a Mount Vernon Rotary member for the last 56 years, and has contributed his time and energy to the community for many years.  I wanted to share this great article with you, and thank Art for his service to our country and to the Mount Vernon community.  You can find the article HERE. 

Classified Employee of the Year
This week, NWESD Superintendent, Larry Francois, visited our regular board meeting to present Veronica Gonzalez with a Golden Apple.  Veronica was selected as the Washington Classified Employee of the Year for 2022.  Congratulations Veronica!

• The MVHS Debate team continues to excel in their competitions.  Great job team.  You can find all their stats from this past weekend HERE.

Art Palmer-veterano local
Miembro de la comunidad desde hace mucho tiempo y veterano de la Fuerza Aérea, Art Palmer, fue entrevistado recientemente por KOMO News. Empleada clasificada del año
Esta semana, el superintendente de NWESD, Larry Francois, visitó nuestra reunión regular de la junta para presentarle a Veronica Gonzalez un premio. Veronica fue seleccionada como la Empleada Clasificada del Año de Washington para 2022. ¡Felicitaciones, Veronica!
