Course covers fertilization, aerification, irrigation, landscaping of turf grass and surrounding grounds, and golf course design and construction. Students learn to operate all types of equipment used in the industry. This is a hands-on class with tours and field trips as a large part of the course. Great career opportunities. Student lab work at Avalon Golf Course, Skagit Country Club, and Eaglemont Golf Course. Students must be prepared to get dirty and do physical labor.
